Did you know the act of planning a trip puts us in the same psychological happy place as actually being at a destination?? Our mental health is vital, especially in times like these. Now is the time to start dreaming and making plans for your next trip, big or small. What makes us happy, also makes us healthy!
The first step is to compile a list or create a Pinterest board of all the places you want to go. Add your dream vacations, bucket-list destinations, and easy weekend getaways! Just thinking about these adventures will definitely stir a positive psychological response.
At some point you’ve got to stop pinning, and start making real plans. Step two is to get yourself a travel agent! Now more than ever, having a travel agent in your corner is essential. It’s our job to navigate the new travel protocols and be your advocate. Plus, it’s a lot of fun to have someone to bounce ideas off of and share this excitement! We genuinely want you to have a stress-free experience.
The final step is to Plan in Pencil. Niki wrote about this recently. Essentially, we book a trip that can be easily changed or cancelled if we need to pivot your plans. The best part for you is that we do all the work, while you get to keep daydreaming of your well-deserved vacation.
A new year and a new vaccine have given us a lot of hope that a return to normalcy is within reach. Travel is still happening now! We can help you manage the restrictions and protocols in place so you can travel safely. When you’re ready for step 2, we’re ready to help with step 3!
