This week, Jamie, Sharon, Samantha, and Ashley discuss their recent trip to Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort to celebrate the holidays!
At The Core
Samantha and Ashley were able to attend the Holiday VIP Tour at Universal Orlando Resort. They enjoyed seeing the Grinchmas show, meeting the Grinch and Santa, seeing the Whos, special seating for Universal’s Christmas parade featuring the balloons from the Macy’s parade, and a special showing of the light show on Hogwarts Castle! This tour definitely sounds worth the investment!
The five of us (Karri was there too, just not on the podcast with us!) also spent a full day at Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios to experience the holiday offerings. We all loved the parade, and the decorations in Seuss Landing were beautiful as well!
After our time at Universal, we hopped over to Walt Disney World for a few days. We visited all four parks and attended Disney’s Very Merriest After Hours. The After Hours celebration was a highlight for all of us, and we loved Minnie’s Holiday Fireworks and dancing with Stitch during the dance party! We also enjoyed several of the snacks. We found the After Hours event to be fun and worth the investment.
Other highlights of our trip included riding some of the newer attractions in the park, including Rise of the Resistance, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
It was a great trip, and we are already planning a Pineapple Escapes holiday getaway at the parks for next year!
Crushed It
Portable Charger – This is an oldie but a good and a Pineapple Escapes favorite. This is my favorite charger for the parks and now it is available in black as well as white. This charger is lightweight, can charge 3 or 4 times, has the cord included, and fits in a fanny pack – what more can you ask for?
