Located in the heart of Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom is a restaurant that brings all the goodness of Thanksgiving dinner to everyday dining. What I love most about this restaurant is that they serve family style with all-you-care-to-eat feasts. This is also a great choice if you have picky eaters in your family. My kids are picky, but there is something to love for everyone on the menu. How can you go wrong with turkey, pot roast, and mashed potatoes? It may seem odd to eat Thanksgiving fare in a theme park, but trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
This restaurant is also a great choice if you have allergies, or even if you are a vegetarian. One of our agents is a vegetarian, and she really enjoyed Liberty Tree Tavern’s Plant-Based Fare including the Incredible Meatloaf.
So what you can expect to eat when you dine at Liberty Tree Tavern? You can plan to experience all the comforts of home. Make sure you save room for dessert, the Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake. It is truly fantastic – especially when topped with the delicious vanilla ice cream!
Start your meal with a “Declaration Salad,” mixed greens tossed with a housemade dressing.
After your salad starter, they will bring out the main feast – The Patriot’s Platter. This platter includes Roasted Turkey, Pennsylvania Pot Roast, and Oven-Roasted Pork Roast with Mashed Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables, Herb Stuffing and Housemade Macaroni & Cheese. If you finish one platter, you can ask for more. As I mentioned, it is All-You-Care-To-Eat so be sure to come hungry. The green beans were so delicious, but the seasonal vegetables will vary so it’s no guarantee you will get the same ones. Also the pot roast was so tender, it almost melts in your mouth. Absolutely delicious!
Once you’ve had your fill of delicious Thanksgiving fare, they will bring out the dessert – the delicious Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake. This vanilla toffee cake is topped with Chocolate Sauce and Vanilla Ice Cream.
If you have food allergies, Liberty Tree Tavern has a differentiated menu with allergy-friendly options. Just look at this beautiful plate of food that is from the allergen menu.
The Allergen-Friendly menu also has multiple dessert options including the Warm Apple Cake, Cookie, or Seasonal Sorbet. All delicious choices to end your meal.
If you do have food allergies, or require a special diet, be sure to let your Travel Advisor know before we make dining reservations. Walt Disney World is one of the safest places to eat if you do have food allergies. They are very capable of handling special requests.
Advanced dining reservations are strongly recommended.
