Destination Wedding Experience

Recently, a few Pineapple Escapes agents went to a client’s destination wedding in Los Cabos, Mexico.  Many of us have booked destination weddings but have never actually gone to one of them.  This was an amazing experience for the wedding couple as well as for the agents.  It was lovely meeting the wedding coordinator in person instead of through email.  We were able to make sure every last detail was planned out and stress free for the couple and their guests. This wedding had approximately 60 guests, and boy was it fun! 

Destination Weddings can be customized to what you want!  You can pick the location of the ceremony whether it’s the beach, a terrace, indoor, etc. You will also have options for decorations, the colors of your choice for flowers, music, DJ, minister, photographer, etc.  Once you pick your destination and tell us your vision, we will work with the onsite wedding planner to make this a reality for you!

While at a destination wedding, don’t forget to take time to relax on the beach for a day or swim in the pool.  Definitely getting a massage the day before or morning of is always a special treat!  However, take time to explore on a day pre- or post-wedding and do some fun excursions with your guests as well! 

Many resorts have packages for weddings to keep the cost in budget and even less than if you had a big wedding in your hometown.  Did you know the more guests you invite in your block of rooms the more perks the wedding couple will receive?  What an awesome perk for them!  I love that the resort offered our couple separate rooms the night before the wedding to keep the old tradition of not seeing each other until you walk down the aisle! 

I will admit standing at this wedding with the ocean in the background and the beautiful breeze and sound of the waves crashing made this an amazing and unforgettable wedding!  I am so happy I was able to be there for their wedding vows and make sure everything went smoothly for them.  I highly recommend a destination wedding!
