EPCOT’s Attractions

When I was a kid, one of my favorite cartoons was the Jetsons. I remember imagining what it would be like to have a robot in my home or to zip around in my own flying car. I’m a little bit older now, and it’s been a while since I watched cartoons, but I still can’t help but wonder about all the exciting ways that we might change the world in the coming decades. I think all of us, in our most hopeful moments, can conceive of a world that is sustainable, equitable, and full of technologies that can make life both easier and more exciting. This is why Walt Disney World’s EPCOT is one of my favorite theme parks. The Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow is Disney’s attempt to help us not just visualize the future, but interact with it in a tangible experience. Around each corner, there is a world of fun and fantasy just waiting to be explored. Join me as we take a stroll through EPCOT and get acquainted with some of its rides and attractions.

World Celebration

Spaceship Earth – Have you ever considered just how amazing the history of humanity really is? This ride gives you a bird’s eye view of mankind’s growth through the ages of time.

Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival – If you are a fan of Disney and Pixar animation studios, then you may want to visit the theater in EPCOT and catch some short films in 4-D.

Journey Into Imagination with Figment – Let Figment the Dragon be your guide as you journey through the Imagination Institute.

World Nature

Soarin’ Around the World – We live on an amazing and beautiful planet. This is something we all know, but rarely do we have the chance to allow ourselves to be amazed at the planet we call home. This ride gives guests a breathtaking view of earth.

Living with the Land – Take a comfortable boat ride through EPCOT’s vision for the future of environmental progress.

Awesome Planet – This short film brings you a virtual tour of some of the most awe-inspiring features of the planet we call home.

The Seas with Nemo & Friends Attractions – Nemo is once again lost and you can help find him on this easy ride under the seas.

Turtle Talk with Crush – Enjoy a face-to-face meeting with everyone’s favorite Sea Turtle.

SeaBase – Take a stroll through Disney’s version of an aquarium. You can get up close and personal with some amazing sea life.

World Discovery

Mission: SPACE – 3…2…1 BLASTOFF on your own personal mission into space. You can choose to orbit the earth (Green Mission for those who want a less stimulating experience) or you can shoot off to Mars in a thrilling spaceship adventure (Orange Mission).

Test Track – Have you ever wondered what it would be like to design and drive the vehicle of your dreams? Well, you can make your dream a reality on this exciting ride.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – No one does heart-pounding adventure quite like the Guardians of the Galaxy. Take off on an amazing race through space and time with these daring heroes.

World Showcase

Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros – Join the Three Caballeros on a pleasant boat ride through the Mexico Pavilion.

Frozen Ever After – Be transported to the magical world of Arendelle as you take a musical voyage through the popular Disney world of Frozen.

Reflections of China – China is a land of beauty and grandeur. This attraction gives you the chance to experience this beauty for yourself in a 360-degree video presentation.

America Gardens Theatre – Visit this outdoor Amphitheater to catch shows and concerts.

The American Adventure – America has a thrilling history, and you can experience a vivid retelling of our national story in this attraction.

Palais du Cinéma

• Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along – Get comfy at this warm French cinema and enjoy a visual sing-along with your favorite tunes from the animated classic.
• Impressions de France – France is known as a land of romance and artistry. Settle in for a short film about this wonderful west European country.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure – Join chef Remy on a culinary adventure based on the Disney movie.

Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360 – Canada is a land of vast wild habitats and staggering natural beauty. Soak in the majesty with this 360-degree visual feast of some of this country’s many attractions.
