Las Vegas is known as Sin City; but it has so much more to offer than the glitz and glamor and casinos. My husband and I visited Las Vegas recently, it was his first time there and I was excited to have some time with him.
Both Justin and I love to find good food in places we visit and there were almost too many choices in Las Vegas. To help my fellow travelers out, I wanted to share my Top Choice for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
On our recent trip we stayed at the Aria Hotel. This is a great hotel, located on the strip with access to the train for ease of getting places.
For Breakfast I recommend grabbing something in the Aria hotel, there are amazing crepes, breakfast sandwiches, smoothies and other delicacies to try. Personally I loved the Nutella and banana crepes! The crepes are located right near the casino and the amazing smoothies and açaí bowls are on the second level next to Starbucks!
For these next two spots you are definitely going to need to bring your appetite! I don’t recommend going to them on the same day, as you will be beyond full.
For lunch, head over to the Cosmopolitan Resort. They offer a breakfast or lunch buffet, brunch on the weekends, at the Wicked Spoon. I really loved all the different types of food you could find. Everything was kept fresh and hot. You could load up on crab legs and sushi or walk a bit further down the line and find omelets and biscuits and gravy. For an additional cost per person you can have bottomless Mimosas, Bloody Mary’s or beer. This is a pricey buffet in town but the quality of food was great. Personal favorites include the eggs Benedict and the macaroon selection. They also had a huge assortment of gelato flavors!
For dinner, there are so many options to choose from, it is almost overwhelming. But my favorite place for dinner in Las Vegas was Fogo de Chao. This is a Brazilian restaurant where they cycle through grilled meats and vegetables right to your table. On top of the delicious meats, there is a full salad bar with hot and cold items to round out your plate. I love this restaurant because the food is incredibly fresh and the options are endless. Whether you prefer steak, shrimp, chicken or even sausage, there will be too much to eat. My favorites were grilled pineapple and chicken. Definitely come with an empty stomach as you will want to try everything they bring around the table.
If you are planning a trip to Las Vegas, your Pineapple Escapes agent will be able to help you with a city tip sheet with great restaurants and other activities to do in the area. Maybe you plan to use Las Vegas as your home base and go off and explore the Hoover Dam or Grand Canyon. We can set you up with tours that meet your personal preferences. I was tempted on our last visit to book a trip to the Las Vegas Speedway so my husband could race around the track in a lamborghini, unfortunately we ran out of time, but the options of activities in Las Vegas are endless.
If you want to walk around and explore Las Vegas, take a walk through the different resorts. We particularly liked exploring Caesars Palace and the Venetian. If you don’t have the time or money to visit Venice, take a gondola ride through the Venetian and it will “almost” be the same.
