The Diamond Horseshoe

Do you love holiday favorite meals? Diamond Horseshoe is serving all those up daily for lunch and dinner at the all you care to eat family style meals, in the local music saloon. This dining location is in Disney’s Magic Kingdom, it is easily accessed by Disney transportation (bus, monorail, boat or walking from Disney’s Contemporary, Grand Floridian or Polynesian Village Resorts) or driving to the park. Diamond Horseshoe is in Liberty Square, next to the hall of presidents and across from the Haunted Mansion. You can enjoy lunch from 12:00 PM to 2:55 PM and dinner from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM daily.

The food served here is the same food that you can find at Liberty Tree Tavern, which is a very popular dining spot, if you are not able to get a reservation there, try here too! The meal starts with Diamond Horseshoe salad, roasted turkey, pot roast, oven-roasted pork, mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, herbed stuffing, and house-made macaroni & cheese. You want to save room for dessert here because the ooooey gooey toffee cake is sooo good. They do have plant-based options such as cowpoke salad, impossible meatloaf and Johnny Appleseed’s warm apple cake.

This location has Coke products as well as milk, coffee and tea. It offers specialty cocktails, beer and wine. Did you know that alcohol is only served in restaurants at Magic Kingdom? We love the food here! It is comfort food at its best! The oooey gooey cake is something that we look forward to on each visit. The Diamond Horseshoe is a location where day of reservations are easier to get than other Magic Kingdom restaurants (this still might no be possible during peak season or around the holidays).

Why do we love dining here? You get a lot of food! We like to skip lunch and eat dinner here because you get your money’s worth here! If you are on a budget, this is a good place to eat. The servers here are very friendly and inviting and make the meal. The decor is very neat, so be sure to check that out as well!

Are you celebrating while dining here? If you are for an added charge, you can add a cake to your reservation. The pricing here is $42 per adult and $23 per child (guests aged 3-9) plus tax and gratuity. The Disney Dining Plan is accepted here, and reservations are recommended 60 days in advance, as this is a fan favorite. A walk-up reservation might be available but is not a guarantee. Disney Visa card holders, Vacation club and annual passholders receive a discount on food here as well.

If you need to cancel your reservation, you can cancel on the My Disney Experience App up to 2 hours prior to the reservation. If you do not, the credit card used to hold the reservation will be charged a per person fee for failure to show. The policy of the restaurant is included in the confirmation email sent after the dining reservation was made.
