LOCATION :
Chef Mickey’s is located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort on the fourth floor.
HOW TO GET THERE:
If you are coming from Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom use the bus for the Contemporary. If you are coming from Epcot you can use a bus or take the monorail to the Ticket and Transportation Center (TTC)and switch the resort monorail, take the fourth stop to Disney’s Contemporary resort. If you are at the Magic Kingdom you can walk, hop on the monorail and exit at the first stop, or take a boat to the Contemporary Resort.
If you are at Disney Springs, hop on the bus for the Contemporary.
If you are at any Disney resort, you can take the bus to Magic Kingdom and then walk, hop on the monorail to the first stop or take a boat to the Contemporary.
There is also the Minnie Van that will pick you up from your current location and take you to the Contemporary Resort.

TYPE OF FOOD:
A buffet setting for breakfast and dinner.
At breakfast you can expect bread, scrambled eggs, bacon, a carving station of ham and beef brisket and the famous Mickey Waffles.
At dinner you can expect to start salads and peel to eat shrimp. The main courses include NY Strip Loin, roasted pork, orange chicken, macaroni and cheese, vegetable stir fry noodles and be sure to save room for the dessert buffet, sure to please everyone in your party!
MENU ITEMS YOU LOVE AND RECOMMEND:
Who doesn’t love Mickey waffles and the carving station is always top notch. For dinner the salads are tasty and they have variety. The kids are sure to love the macaroni and cheese and other offerings in the kid section of the buffet, it’s even kid height!
PRICING:
Breakfast and dinner are $35 to $59.99 per adult.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
Breakfast is served daily from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm. Dinner is served daily from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm.
OVERALL EXPERIENCE/VIBE:
It is a great experience for the kids and the kids at heart! There is something for everyone at this buffet. The atmosphere is what makes Chef Mickey’s, you get to see the fab five in one place and do not have to wait in line. You are meeting the characters and enjoying breakfast or dinner at the same time. It is the perfect start to a day at Magic Kingdom or a great end of day at Magic Kingdom. If you are enjoying dinner be sure to head to the balcony directly across from the entrance and watch the night time fireworks!
DRESS CODE:
The dress code is casual, some come right from the Parks and at dinner some do dress up.
OVERALL VALUE & WHO IT’S BEST SUITED FOR:
This is best suited for families. It is a good way to enjoy the characters and not have to wait in long lines. This is a must do for our family everytime we visit. Our favorite meal here is breakfast. We love the Mickey Waffles! We always start our first day of vacation at Chef Mickey’s and then head off to Magic Kingdom for the day!
