Niki, Sharon, and Jamie focus on their wish lists for 2021 travel in this week’s episode of The Travel Tidbits Podcast. They discuss how 2020 impacted their travel plans and all of the travel they hope to experience in 2021 as “revenge travel” for 2020!
The hope that the COVID-19 vaccine brings to the travel industry is discussed, as well as how we anticipate the vaccine will impact travel. The trips that we had to delay or
postpone in 2020 are also discussed, including numerous weddings that were canceled for Niki, a family trip to Walt Disney World for Sharon, and a trip to Machu Picchu for Jamie and her family.
The travel industry has a lot of hope for 2021 travel as the vaccines are distributed and herd immunity is hopefully reached later in 2021. At this point, we don’t know exactly what the vaccine requirements will be for travel but all of the Pineapple Escapes agents are keeping up with all of the protocols and changes to help our clients.
Sharon has big plans for 2021 including a cruise, individual mother/son trips with her two boys to Walt Disney World and Clearwater, and a road trip along the Oregon trail.
Niki’s big trip for 2021 is a trip to London and Paris with her husband and mom. She is really excited because her mom has never been abroad and hopes that this trip will end up happening! She also has many rescheduled weddings to attend, trainings with the Pineapple Escapes team, and will end up popping up to Orlando to visit Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort as well!
Jamie’s list is long as she is on the “travel every six weeks” plan. She has high hopes for two cruises (including one to Alaska), Machu Picchu, and Disneyland in 2021.
All three agents are planning in pencil for themselves and their clients for 2021, but are hoping for a comeback for the travel industry!
This week’s travel favorite is 4 ½ Pineapple Rings and is a travel humidifier. Jamie has found this to be wonderful for winter travel in the Midwest and on her Colorado trip. The dryness in hotel rooms can be so frustrating!
