Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is a beautiful re-imagined resort on Walt Disney World property. I love the blend of Spanish, Mexican, and Southwest American cultures. This lakeside property has Disney touches and comforts around every turn.
Coronado Springs is conveniently located between Epcot and Hollywood Studios and is one of Walt Disney World’s moderate hotel options. It is a “stand-alone” resort, which means this property isn’t adjacent to any other Disney hotels. This resort has more of an adult feel to it although still kid-friendly.
The “Dig Site” pool and recreation area boasts a 5-story Mayan pyramid and play area themed like an archaeological dig site. It’s sure to make everyone feel like they are in Mexico.
The Coronado Springs Resort has standard view, water view, preferred location (closer to resort services), and suites available. This resort offers 1,917 rooms and suites situated in three “villages.” These rooms were refurbished in 2019.

The Lost City of Cibola Pool
Featuring a Jaguar waterslide, this pool is a great place to spend a warm Orlando afternoon. Three smaller quiet pools are also onsite, giving adults a nice, quiet place to relax after a long day in the parks.
