Disney’s Beach Club Resort
If you love the vibe of the New England seaside, then Disney’s Beach Club Resort should be your pick! The summer cottage architecture is quintessential New England, and the relaxed, casual atmosphere combined with understated elegance is perfect for all ages.
The Beach Club Resort is located in the Epcot resort area and is one of Walt Disney World’s deluxe hotel options. Beach Club Resort is located next to its sister resort (Yacht Club) and across Crescent Lake from Disney’s Boardwalk Resort. Beach Club opened in November 1990 and was refurbished in 2016. The Beach Club Resort shares restaurants, pools, and other amenities with the Yacht Club Resort and Beach Club Villas.
Beach Club Resort is located within walking distance of Epcot and the Boardwalk – you can walk to the International Gateway entrance of Epcot in less than 5 minutes! Transportation to other parks is by bus, boat, or Skyliner. Boat transportation is available to Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios (also accessible via Skyliner or via the walkway behind Boardwalk Villas). Bus transportation is available to Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs, and the water parks.
Room Types
Disney’s Beach Club Resort has standard view, garden view, and water view (lagoon or pool) rooms available. There are also one- and two-bedroom villas at the Beach Club Villas. Most rooms at the Beach Club will sleep up to five adults with two queen beds and one day bed.
Club level is also available and can be a great option! Guests of the Stone Harbor Club are treated to special services including a lounge, complimentary food and drink, and personalized service.

Pools
Stormalong Bay
This is one of Disney’s most popular pool areas and arguably the best pool in all of Disney! The main 3-acre pool complex features a sand-bottomed pool, lazy river, life-sized shipwreck replica, and a 230-foot-long waterslide, one of the highest hotel slides at Disney! Stormalong Bay is centrally located between both Beach Club Resort and Yacht Club Resort facing Crescent Lake.
Disney’s Beach Club Resort Tidal Pool
This “quiet” pool is in a garden area on the far end of the resort facing Crescent Lake.
Disney’s Beach Club Villas Dunes Cove Pool
Another “quiet” pool privately located at Disney’s Beach Club Villas. All resort guests are welcome. All pools also include steaming whirlpool spas.

Why We Love It
One of the best things about the Beach Club is its proximity to Epcot! The convenience of being able to walk right over to the park is definitely a perk! Also, the pool area is one of the best at Disney. If you’re planning on spending time at the resort (rather than all your time in the parks), Beach Club is great choice! Lastly, the Skyliner station next door is a bonus giving you access to all the Skyliner connected resorts as well as Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
