Universal’s Loews Royal Pacific Resort
Universal’s Loews Royal Pacific Resort is my favorite resort at Universal Orlando Resort. I love the relaxed, tropical vibe and the inclusion of Express Pass and water taxi transportation to CityWalk! Royal Pacific is one of three Premier level hotels at Universal Orlando Resort. Premier level hotels are high-quality with club-level options and suites. The most important feature of Universal’s Premier hotels is the inclusion of Universal Express Unlimited. This allows guests who are staying on property at these hotels to skip the traditional ride line for the much faster, Express line. For me, this is a critical component of any Universal Orlando vacation! The main lobby leads to the different wings of the hotel, featuring a lagoon-style pool with a white sand beach. It’s an ideal escape after a long day in the parks! The theme throughout the resort focuses on the South Seas and allows guests to unwind. The resort offers waterways and walking paths that connect the resort to Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, and Universal CityWalk. Universal’s Volcano Bay can be accessed via complimentary shuttle. Other perks of staying on-site at Loews Royal Pacific Resort include early park admission to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, priority seating at restaurants, charging abilities using your room key, and complimentary package delivery from the parks to the resort.
Room Types
Loews Royal Pacific has standard view and water view rooms and suites available. From some of the rooms, you can see a peek of the theme parks!
Jurassic Kids Suite rooms are a great option for families! These suites have beds shaped like gyrospheres and feature Blue from Jurassic World! These are two-room suites, with the kids’ room only accessible to the parents’ room. These suites are amazing!
Club level is also available and can be a great option! The Royal Club Lounge offers coffee starting at 6:30 am, morning continental breakfast from 7-10:30 am, snacks from 12-4 pm and evening hot and cold hors d’oevres and snacks, as well as wine and beer from 5-7 pm and desserts from 8-10 pm each day. My family has personally stayed club level several times, and we love the added value and convenience of the concierge lounge! This is the perfect place to relax after a long day in the parks! Poolside activities are fun too – including ping pong tournaments, hula hoop contests, and other interactive games! Fitness FacilityFor the fitness buff, Royal Pacific has all the options! Steam/sauna, whirlpool, locker rooms, and lots of choices for equipment – treadmills, strength training machines, exercise bikes, StairMaster, elliptical, a Smith Machine, plus more! Game (Not) Over ArcadeDo you love video games? This arcade, located next to the pool, is open daily for the gamers in your family!
Restaurants and Bars On-Site
Islands Dining RoomDinner with a Pan-Asian flair! We recommend the signature Hawaiian pancakes for breakfast and the salmon entree for dinner. Jake’s American BarCocktails and appetizers are available at this full-service bar with a South Seas theme. We recommend the roast beef on a pretzel bun!
Orchid Court Lounge and Sushi Bar
Located next to the main lobby, this lounge and sushi bar offers Japanese whiskeys, sake, and beer, along with sushi, sashimi, and other salads and appetizers.
Tuk Tuk Market
Conveniently located in the lobby, this quick-service marketplace is filled with grab-n-go options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Bula Bar and GrilleThis poolside spot serves menu items with a tropical vibe. We recommend the nachos and fish tacos! They also have delicious Pina Coladas! Room Service
If you just need to stay in, but you’re starving, Royal Pacific has you covered. Their room service menu has a wide variety of options to please every palate.
Why We Love It
Loews Royal Pacific is my favorite Universal Orlando resort because I truly love the tropical theme and pineapple and frog touches. Having named our agency Pineapple Escapes, is this really surprising? I love the laid-back tropical vibe, the amazing location with easy access to CityWalk and all of the dining options on-site are delicious as well! I have never had guests stay at Loews Royal Pacific and not love the experience and the convenience!
