Are you interested in staying at a premiere location in Walt Disney World for your next trip? If so, look no further. We’ve been there and done that so we’ve got you covered on the best place to stay to be nearest the action.
One of the first things to consider when choosing your deluxe accommodations is where you will be spending most of your time. Are you a rope drop to park close person? Do you prefer to take a mid-day break at your resort? Do you plan on a resort only vacation? Will you be visiting when the weather is mild and want to enjoy a leisure walk to the parks or in the heat of summer when the more A/C available the better? The answer to each of these questions can help determine where might be the best fit for your next resort stay.
Magic Kingdom Resorts
If you’ve ever thought about staying on the beloved monorail loop, you certainly cannot go wrong with any of these hotels. The Contemporary Resort and Bay Lake Tower is a great option and allows a quick walk over to Magic Kingdom. It was the first resort to allow you to walk to the Magic Kingdom and is a great option if you plan on spending a lot of time at this park. The monorail loop also hosts Disney’s Polynesian Resort, a beautiful escape to tropical paradise. The grounds of this resort are absolutely beautiful with tropical flowers and trees surrounding the buildings. The last resort on this loop is Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and it is a true southern belle. The grand entrance in the Main Building is breathtaking and sure to start your Disney trip like your own fairytale story.
Epcot Resort Loop
Maybe Magic Kingdom is not your sweetest cup of tea and you are more of an Epcot or Hollywood Studios fan then maybe one of the resorts here would be a better fit. These resorts provide a walking path to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios as well as boat and Skyliner transportation. In the event of severe weather the bus routes will become operational as well. Not only do these resorts have a prime location, the Beach and Yacht Club host the most coveted pool area on property. Stormalong Bay has a sand bottom pool, lazy river, an adventurous water slide for the big kids and an open water slide for the smaller kiddos. Across the way at the Boardwalk Resort there are rooms overlooking the lively boardwalk area where you can also catch a glimpse of the nighttime fireworks display at Epcot!
