Cinderella’s Royal Table is one of the most sought after reservations at Walt Disney World! This restaurant is located inside of Cinderella’s Castle and the ambiance and special feel of dining inside the castle with princesses is a dream come true for many guests with a regal and authentic castle feel! This fairytale dining experience is magical and memorable!
Cinderella greets guests as they enter the castle and a formal photo is taken. Guests are then escorted upstairs in the castle to the restaurant for dinner. During the meal, visiting princesses will stop at the table during your meal to take photos, sign autographs, and chit-chat.
Advance reservations are needed to dine at Cinderella’s Royal Table and can be challenging to obtain. Cinderella’s Royal Table is so popular that when booking the reservation, prepayment in full is needed to secure the reservation. Dining reservations open 60 days before your vacation and are just one of the many services that Pineapple Escapes agents offer to our guests.
Getting There
Cinderella’s Royal Table is located inside of Cinderella’s Castle inside of the Magic Kingdom. You must have a valid ticket for the Magic Kingdom and if your reservation is before 2 pm, a valid park reservation for the Magic Kingdom as well.
If you are staying onsite, you can take the monorail, ferry boat, or the bus to the Magic Kingdom. If you’re driving, you’ll arrive and park at the Ticketing and Transportation Center and then take the monorail or ferry boat to the Magic Kingdom. It is best to allow at least an hour to an hour an a half for transportation to the park and for entry into the Magic Kingdom.
Breakfast
Breakfast starts with a basket of pastries and then each guess is able to choose their own entree. Options range from a traditional egg and sausage breakfast to other options like beef tenderloin with eggs, shrimp and grits, avocado toast, and caramel apple-stuffed French toast. Yum!
Options for kiddos include Mickey waffles, oatmeal, frittatas, or cold cereal with sides such as yogurt, fruit, and traditional breakfast meat options.
Drink options include all of the basics, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, sodas, oj, milk, and there are also speciality cocktails. If a mimosa, peach bellini, sangria, or Royal Breakfast Flight (a taste of each!) would help you start your park day, Cinderella’s is prepared! Cocktails are not included in the prepaid cost of your meal.
An added tip, if your breakfast restaurant is early, you can enter the park early and this provides an opportunity to see main street and the castle with less guests – and some amazing photo ops!
Dinner
The menu is prix fixe and includes an appetizer, entree, and dessert. Food options do tend to change and evolve over time. On our last visit, the meal started with a bread service, followed by a choice of appetizer. I had the scallops and they were delightful! For my entree, I chose the filet and it was also really delicious. There are some fun desserts, including a Clock Strikes Twelve dessert. Personally, I recommend the Chef’s Dessert Trio of the Jaq and Gus cheesecake.
For kiddos, options include a fish of the day, beef tenderloin, chicken nuggets or mac-n-cheese with side selections of mashed potatoes, veggies, rice, or corn. Kiddo dessert options include a decorate your own cupcake or The Sword in the Sweet which is a cookies ‘n cream cheesecake moose with a cookie sword!
One neat aspect of Cinderella’s Royal Table, if you plan for your dinner to be during the fireworks, you can see them from INSIDE the castle! This is a really neat experience as they illuminate the inside of the restaurant and highlight some of the extra Disney magic. I would only recommend this experience if you’ve already seen the fireworks show as you’ll miss the music, projections, and other magic of the fireworks – but it is a fun experience!
Pricing
Currently, breakfast is $65 per adult and $39 per child and dinner is $79 per adult and $47 per child. While this does seem high, the cost is for the experience of dining in the castle, meeting the princesses, and due to the popularity of this restaurant. There are also a few cute little souvenirs and extra pixie dust you’ll receive during your meal.
Times
Cinderella’s Royal Table is open for breakfast from 8 am to 10:15 am, lunch from 11 am to 2:55 pm, and dinner from 3 pm to 8:45 pm on most days. Advance reservations are needed and can be made starting 60 days before your trip. This is a pre-paid reservation and must be paid in full at the time the reservation is secured. Sometimes, last minute reservations do become available, so if this is on your list but you haven’t seen reservations, keep checking the app – even that day – for last minute cancelations.
Value
While this experience isn’t one for those on a tight budget, it is an experience with memories that will last a lifetime. It’s a great character meal option for a family who does not enjoy buffets, wants to dine with the princesses, and likes the ambiance of dining in the castle.
