Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort is my children’s favorite resort on Walt Disney World property. They love that they can be a part of Andy’s toy box!
All-Star Movies is located closest to Animal Kingdom park. It is one of three All-Star resorts (along with All-Star Sports and All-Star Music).
The main lobby is in Cinema Hall. The theme of this resort is celebrating the magic of the movies. You can even end your day enjoying a movie under the stars.
Bus transportation is available to Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs, and the two Disney water parks.
The rooms at All-Star Movies accommodate up to four guests plus one child under the age of three in a crib. The rooms are 260 sq. ft. and have either one king bed or one queen bed and one pull-down queen-sized table bed.
The All-Star Movies Resort has standard and preferred rooms with a view of the courtyard, pool, or parking area. The preferred rooms are located close to Cinema Hall, the dining area, shopping, and transportation. If you prefer to have a shorter walk to the common areas, the preferred rooms are a good option for you!
As always, your favorite Pineapple Escapes’ agent can help guide you to the ideal room type for your vacation!
Pools
Fantasia Pool
Inspired by the Disney classic Fantasia, this pool is home to a Sorcerer Mickey fountain. There is also a kiddie pool and water play area located nearby for the little ones.
Duck Pond Pool
This hockey rink style pool is based on the film series The Mighty Ducks where you will find Goofy starring as the goalie!
Restaurants and Bars
Quick Service
World Premiere Food Court
A great grab-n-go option located in Cinema Hall, there are five quick-service stations showcasing all-American cuisine serviced in a setting that resembles a grand movie theater lobby. Don’t forget to start your morning off with my favorite, the infamous Mickey waffles.
Bar
Silver Screen Spirits Pool Bar
This brightly-colored bar located by the Fantasia pool offers specialty cocktails, frozen favorites, and non-alcoholic specialties even the little ones can enjoy. Make sure you try the Dole Whip Smoothie!!
The grounds of All-Star Movies are fun to explore with all the larger-than-life decor. Each building has a different theme including the Toy Story area where you will find a 35-foot tall Buzz and a 25-foot tall Woody. You can even take a minute to sit in RC! Other buildings consist of 101 Dalmations, The Mighty Ducks, Fantasia, and Herbie: The Love Bug. My kids love walking around and taking pictures with every statue.
