Our family loves to cruise, and there is nothing quite like the experience of cruising with the Mouse! The thrill of being so close to your favorite characters, the upbeat fun cast members who work hard to make your trip magical, and the many onboard activities and entertainment will make each day memorable! We cruised in 2019 on the Disney Magic during one of the Merrytime Cruises.
There are so many options for both kids and adults. Be sure to enjoy one of the many Broadway-style shows, they are amazing! We really enjoyed each of the shows we saw.
Disney’s Oceaneer Lab & Kids’ Club will thrill kids of all ages. The certified cast members provide fun through science environments, games, crafts, character interactions, and so much more! I had a hard time getting my kids out of the kids club. For the youngest cruisers, be sure to check out the It’s A Small World Nursery.
While the kids are safely taking care of in the clubs, enjoy some adults-only time at the Senses Spa or the adults-only Quiet Cove pool.
Our oldest daughter was tall enough to ride the AquaDuck, which was a thrilling waterslide on the deck. My son preferred to lounge in the pool watching the Disney movies.
Your little princess will love getting all dolled up at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique before the Royal Court Royal Tea where you have the opportunity to dine with your favorite Disney Princesses.
I love that Disney Cruise Lines offer 3 distinct dining rooms. Each formal dining room has its own unique style and menu. Rapunzel’s Royal Table, Lumiere’s, and Animator’s Palate. I enjoyed dining in a different location each evening and the fact that our wait staff moved with us each night. They were amazing and always remembered our drink preferences and even helped cut the kids food so we could enjoy ours while it was still hot.
There are several other dining options on board as well that include buffet, poolside, quick bites, and adults-only restaurants. The adults-only restaurants are not included in the all-inclusive dining.
One of the many reasons I love cruising with Disney Cruise Line is the many fun theme nights. We packed our own pirate costumes to save some money, but if you forget, they also sell them on the ship. Pirate night was our favorite!
They also have Mickey’s Sail Away Party, Mickey’s Tree Lighting Ceremony (on Merrytime sailings), Marvel Day at Sea, and Star Wars Day at Sea.
Not all theme nights are on every sailing so let your travel advisor know if you want one specifically.
#1 – Amazing interactions with your favorite Disney Characters. As you can see from our pictures, we got to see so many!
#2 – All-inclusive delicious food & non-alcoholic beverages. My kids loved having easy access to pizza and ice cream all day.
#3 – Theme Nights. We especially loved the Pirate Night.
#4 – The best cast members who work hard to make your trip more memorable!
#5 – The entertainment options are top notch! There is never a reason to be bored while cruising with the Mouse!
