This week, Niki and Leslie discuss honeymoon travel.  They talk about when brides should begin planning, honeymoon destinations, and overall tips to have the romantic honeymoon you’ve been dreaming of!

At The Core

Most couples can’t wait for their honeymoon.  For most, waiting at least 24 hours after the wedding to leave is best, as you’ll most likely be exhausted from the big day.  Resorts typically include special honeymoon inclusions if you book between the day after your wedding until 30 days to 3 months after.

Our Favorite Destinations for Honeymoons!

  • All-Inclusives
    • Caribbean
      • Lucia – higher-end and longer travel days
      • Jamaica/Dominican Republic – moderate budget
      • Bahamas – solid cruise port but not best location for all-inclusives
    • Mexico
      • Cancun – best budget location and most options
      • Cabo is not known for their beaches as the current is rough
    • Sandals is popular because it is advertised so well – butler service

  • Hawaii
    • Active couples
    • If wanting to relax it is possible but you will get more for your money at an all-inclusive

Del Sol – Color Changing Nail Polish – The color-changing process isn’t long-term, but this is still fun!
