The Liberty Tree Tavern is located in Frontierland of Walt Disney World. The easiest way to get there is to enter the park and walk directly down Main St., turn left to Frontierland just in front of the castle and the Liberty Tree Tavern is directly on your left across from the Hall of Presidents. The overall vibe of this restaurant is set in the colonial style of America with a touch of Thanksgiving. There are six large rooms named after a historical figure of colonial times such as Betsy Ross and Paul Revere. It is decorated with wood floors, a fireplace, and lots of old style American furniture. The chandeliers that hang in most rooms are a must see! You are encouraged to walk through the entire tavern to see what artifacts and treasures are located in different sections.
My family ate at the Liberty Tree Tavern several years ago when my kiddos were much younger. We chose to eat there on a night that we would not be doing any rides or staying for the fireworks because of the large amount of food that was served. I am glad we chose to do this – the food was delicious and we could hardly eat dessert when we were finished with the meal. I will add they used to have characters, such as Minnie and Mickey, dressed up on colonial outfits and made their way around the table. I wish Disney would choose to bring these characters back to the Tavern!
