Magic Kingdom’s Attractions

When most people think of Walt Disney World, their mind automatically goes to Cinderella’s Castle. Beyond that, their second thought is usually fairytales and the classic movies that we have fallen in love with. If I just described you then yes, Magic Kingdom is definitely a theme park that you need to visit but it is so much more than the castle and the classics like Beauty and the Beast.

Let’s take a look at the attractions you can find in Magic Kingdom…

Main Street U.S.A.

Walt Disney World Railroad – All aboard this old-fashioned locomotive and ride around Magic Kingdom.

Adventureland

Swiss Family Treehouse – Have you or your kids dreamed of the best treehouse? Or maybe you wanted to be a member of the “Swiss Family Robinson”? Well, here is your chance to go exploring through a 6-story treehouse.

The Magic Carpets of Aladdin – Well, we may not be able to show you the world on a flying magic carpet but you go soaring over Adventureland around a Genie’s lamp. Just beware of the neighboring camels. They spit!

Jungle Cruise – Prepare for a riverboat adventure as you cruise down the amazon and take in the sights and sounds of the rainforest.

Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room – Head to the South Pacific and enjoy the musical performance of these animatronic, exotic birds.

Pirates of the Caribbean – Are you in for some swashbuckling action? This slow and easy water ride takes you through the heart of Pirate town. Don’t forget to try and catch a glimpse of Captain Jack Sparrow.

Frontierland

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad – Jump (okay, well, carefully step) into your mine train and go speeding through a haunted gold mining town. This truly is the wildest ride in the wilderness!

Tom Sawyer Island – Looking for a place to let the little ones explore and play or a place where you can sit and play checkers? Take a raft over to Mark Twain’s inspired island.

Country Bear Jamboree – BIAS ALERT: This is one of, if not my favorite, attraction in Magic Kingdom. Join a family of backwoods bears as they kick off a good old-fashioned hoedown.

Liberty Square

The Hall of Presidents – America has a rich history, full of amazing achievements, exciting discoveries, and of course, some hard times and disappointing failures. Through all of this winding journey, our nation has been led by men who sometimes rose to the moment, and sometimes missed the mark. This show is an opportunity to explore that history.

Liberty Square Riverboat – Take a relaxing journey around Tom Sawyer’s Island on the Liberty Belle, an authentic replica of an old paddle wheel riverboat.

Haunted Mansion – What do you get when a ghost story meets Disney magic? Well, you get a ride that frightens and excites in equal measure!

Fantasyland

Prince Charming Regal Carrousel – Prince Charming has leant 90 of his finest horses, including his personal horse, for you and your family to ride in Fantasyland.

Mickey’s PhilharMagic – Get out of the heat and enjoy the air conditioning while you watch this 3-D film featuring Mickey Mouse, as the conductor of this PhilharMagic.

Peter Pan’s Flight – Climb aboard your pirate ship and fly over London as you head to the second star to the right. Just look out for Tick Tock Croc!

“it’s a small world” – This classic, slow-moving water ride, is a mainstay at Disney. Enjoy a leisurely cruise through a celebration of world cultures.

Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid – Join Ariel and her friends as you head under the sea. Does Ariel find her true love? Does she find her voice? Kids of all ages will enjoy this retelling of The Little Mermaid in ride form.

The Barnstormer – Join Goofy on his stunt airplane as you go soaring above Storybook Circus.

Dumbo the Flying Elephant – Put a feather behind your ear and take flight with Dumbo the Flying Elephant!

Mad Tea Party – Sit and spin in these giant teacups as you celebrate at the Unbirthday Party.

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh – Not even going to lie, this ride hit me right in the feels the first time I tried it. A fun journey through the hundred-acre wood.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train – Hi Ho Hi Ho it’s off to fun we go! A fun ride through the mines with our favorite dwarves.

Enchanted Tales with Belle – Join Belle in this interactive retelling of the tale that is old as time.

Tomorrowland

Tomorrowland Speedway – Get behind the wheel and steer your way around the winding track of Tomorrowland Speedway

Space Mountain – If you’re a thrill seeker, this one’s for you. An indoor roller coaster that will get the blood pumping. Prepare yourself, it’s dark and the flashing lights are bright!

Astro Orbiter – Take off in your rocket ship as you orbit around Tomorrowland!

Tomorrowland Transit Authority – Sit back and enjoy the transit system that is elevated above Tomorrowland.

Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress – Another family favorite, this ride/show is in a theater with a moving stage. Take a “walk” through decades of progress, while remembering the things that really matter.

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin – Help Buzz Lightyear defeat Zurg in this competition-style attraction.

Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor – Make sure to bring your sense of humor to Magic Kingdom because Mike Wozawski needs to your meeting Roz’s quota.

TRON Lightcycle – Hop on your Lightcycle and enter the grid on this high-speed roller coaster.
