Rock the Universe

Recently, my son and I spent the weekend at Universal Orlando’s Rock the Universe weekend.  Dubbed Florida’s biggest Christian music festival, this annual weekend includes live performances from some of the biggest names in Christian music.  *The following information is based off the event in 2022.  Even though this is an annual event, this information may not be applicable to the current year*

Rock the Universe takes place at Universal Studios and is a separately ticketed after-hours event.  Universal Studios closes at 6pm to those that don’t have a wristband to the event.  With an event ticket, you are able to enter the park at 4 PM and remain until 1 AM. 

If you have a park ticket for the day, you do not have to exit the park as long as you have an event wristband.  Team members check for wristbands after 6 PM, and you will not be able to remain in the park without one.  If you are going to the park during the day, I recommend purchasing express passes with your daily park ticket.  The lines were longer than normal and mostly contained groups that took longer to get through the queue.

The concerts took place on three separate stages and some of them did overlap; you will not be able to hear every band that is on the lineup.  We were able listen to eight of the performers, so it was still worth the ticket price!

Ticket Options

There are several different ticket options available for the Rock the Universe event. 

• One day Rock the Universe ticket – Friday
• One day Rock the Universe ticket – Saturday
• Two day Rock the Universe ticket
• Express ride access (valid after 4 PM, one time at each participating attraction)
• Express Unlimited Ride Access (valid after 4 PM, unlimited times at each participating attraction)

Groups

Group tickets are available for groups of ten or more.  For every ten tickets you purchase, you get one additional ticket for free. 

Youth Leader Lounges

There are two lounges available from 6:30 PM – 12:00 AM for youth leaders to enjoy complimentary Coca-Cola products and bottled water.  You must have a striped wristband issued to youth leaders to enter both lounges.
