Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya Resort is an amazing resort and home to one of the most beautiful beaches on the Riviera Maya. I love this resort because it is an adults-only all-inclusive resort, the grounds are incredibly beautiful, and the resort is an ideal size. It’s not too big but not too small. Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya also welcomes small dogs.

Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya Resort opened in November 2015. It has 434 suites, 3 swimming pools, 9 restaurants, 6 bars and lounges, a spa, fitness center, and is an amazing place for destination weddings. 

Room Types

Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya Resort has a tropical view, partial ocean view, ocean view, oceanfront and swim-out junior suites, preferred club junior suites, romance master suites, and presidential suites available.

Pools

Infinity PoolLooking out to the ocean and the horizon, the infinity pool also includes the swim-up bar. From December to March, the pool is heated. Social PoolThe largest pool is located near the non-preferred rooms. It is dedicated to activities like water polo, aqua aerobic, and water volleyball. The social pool is also heated from December to March. Relaxing PoolLocated in the middle, the relaxing pool offers pool waiter service.  This pool is very relaxing and perfect to just enjoy sitting by the pool reading a book or just catching some rays.  The relaxing pool is heated from December to March.
