Story Book Dining at Artist Point

LOCATION : Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

 

HOW TO GET THERE:

This dining is located at the Wilderness Lodge, if you are staying on property you can take a bus to any of the Theme Parks or Disney Springs  and take the resort bus to Wilderness Lodge. If you are at Magic Kingdom you can take a bus or boat to the Wilderness Lodge. If you are coming from Disney’s Contemporary Resort or Fort Wilderness you can take a boat over to Wilderness Lodge. You can also always take a Minnie Van or Uber to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Story Book Dining at Artist Point is located off the lobby and down the hall. Remember to give yourself an hour or more from a resort or park to get to this dining location.

 

CHARACTERS YOU CAN MEET: 

Snow White, The Evil Queen, Dopey and Grumpy.

TYPE OF FOOD:

It is American fare which starts with shared appetizers at the table. Wild Mushroom Bisque, Hunter’s Pie and Wicked Shrimp Cocktail. After the appetizers move onto offerings of beef, rib roast, pork, chicken, fish and plant based options. This menu offers kid choices as well, grilled chicken, grilled fish and prime rib roast. The shared desserts are sure to “wow” the guests dining here. They also have a lot of specialty drinks available both for adults only and kids!

 

MENU ITEMS YOU LOVE AND RECOMMEND:

The Royal Prime Rib Roast was melt in your mouth! It paired perfectly with the mashed potatoes and carrots. The plant based option was also very good and we would definitely order again! The kids were happy and the choices were healthier than other places on property. 

 

PRICING:

$39 per child and $65 per adult plus tax and gratuity.

 

HOURS OF OPERATION:

Dinner is served daily from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE/VIBE:

The experience was different from a lot of other options at Disney World. It is not a buffet and has healthier options. We loved meeting the Evil Queen! She lived up to her name for sure!  

 

DRESS CODE:

The dress code is casual but most do dress up more for this experience (dresses or nice capris/pants for ladies and girls. Men and boys wear pants/dress shorts and button down or polo shirt). 

OVERALL VALUE & WHO IT’S BEST SUITED FOR:

This experience is very fun! You get to meet and interact with the Evil Queen as well as Dopey and Grumpy. The experience is very fun, the Hunter’s gift to the Evil Queen at the end of the meal is a highlight. The food is healthier than other options and it’s a unique dining experience. This is well suited for young and old!
