Universal’s City Walk is home to many amazing restaurants, both sweet and savory. One favorite sweet spot of the Pineapple Escapes team is the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen. While Toothsome is known for its decadent desserts and mouthwatering milkshakes, there are other amazing dishes you should try when you visit.
Like any good meal, it needs to start with a hearty appetizer, and the Chocolate Emporium has a wide array of options. Depending on your tastes, allergies, or hunger level, there is something for everyone.
On my last visit to Toothsome with the agency, we sampled several of the appetizers and my absolute favorite was the Crab & Artichoke Dip. This warm, cheesy dip had a little spice from the chipotle peppers but was served with a warm thin bread and was delicious. Another of the team’s favorites were the Totchos, a perfect blend between traditional tots and nachos. If you are looking for a lighter option, I recommend the Avocado Bruschetta. It is a vegetarian option and is served on a toasted crostini bread with fresh avocados and tomatoes.
On to the Main Entrees! Toothsome Chocolate Emporium has many delicious options to choose from. Personally, I like to save room for dessert so I like to choose one of the salads or flatbreads as my entree. The Waldorf Chicken Salad is delicious… light, airy, and making my mouth water just thinking about it.
The Classic Flounder Amandine is also a strong contender as my favorite. What can I say? I love that brown butter sauce and toasted almonds.
Toothsome’s menu is large so I recommend taking some time to review it before you go. Reservations are also strongly recommended as it is hard to get in as a walk up most nights.

If you don’t have time for a full meal, or you want to skip ahead and start with dessert, Toothsome Chocolate Emporium is the place to do it. They will often have seasonal specials on dessert options. Currently they are offering a Halloween Special – Black Magic Milkshake containing Pumpkin dulce de leche ice cream, Nutella, and tombstone sprinkle rim with a severed body part-filled cauldron over whipped topping flames. That sounds too spooky for me, but I do love pumpkin ice cream! Toothsome offers 14 flavors of milkshakes big enough to share but trust me, you won’t want to!
I personally love mint chocolate ice cream so my go to is the “That’s Mint” milkshake. With mint ice cream, Andes mints, and a mint chocolate ice cream sandwich, it’s a dessert on top of a dessert!
Which one will you try? Current flavors include:
If by some small chance you don’t like milkshakes, they also have some decadent desserts including Sundaes, Bread Pudding, Pie, and Creme Brulee.
Pictured below is the Brookies, Cookies & Cream. If you leave hungry after visiting Toothsome Chocolate Emporium, it won’t be for the lack of great options.
