Why You Should Book
Your Disney Trip Early

If you are a true Disney fan, you have probably had that moment amid a life crisis when you know your mental health needs to go “home” for a few days.  You might have even put together some last minute plans to get you to your happy place.  While last minute Disney is better than no Disney at all, there are advantages to planning your trip early.

First, the earlier you book, the better the chances of getting the exact resort and room type that you want.  Not all value resorts are created equal.  Some provide only bus transportation, while others have the awesome Skyliner to whisk you away.  Even within the same resort, there are options for poolside if you are planning some afternoon breaks, or preferred locations to get you close to transportation and other onsite amenities.  If you have 3 kiddos in your family like me, options that will sleep 5 are limited at value and moderate resorts. Sometimes the only remaining options are deluxe accommodations.

Second, with park reservations required it is important to plan ahead so that your ability to visit the parks isn’t dictated by what is available.  I have seen horror stories of individuals arriving at the parks without these reservations, not able to visit Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios during their stay.  Of course this scenario would never happen when using a Pineapple Escapes agent as we would check availability before booking. But if you book late, there is the possibility that not all parks are available.

Next, booking is risk-free!  With a deposit of only $200 per room, fully refundable up until 30 days before your trip, there is no need to delay.  Disney’s generous plan allows you to lock in plans while still offering flexibility if you change your mind.  This also allows you to make monthly payments if you wish until final payment is due.  Worried about a future sale or discount occurring?  Your travel agent can apply those to your Disney reservation so you never have to worry about booking too soon.

In addition, with so many options for resorts, dining, attractions, etc., there are a lot of decisions to be made to assure you have the best trip possible.  While it can become overwhelming, when you use a travel agent we assist and make suggestions based on your likes and dislikes to take the stress out of planning.

Last but not least, like other special occasions, the anticipation building up to a Disney vacation is a huge part of the fun.  Countdowns and reminders to vacation are great to get us through the rough patches in life, and a trip to Disney is no exception.
