Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort

Do you love national parks or the thought of a warm, cozy log cabin? If you answered yes to either of these questions Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort is for you! This resort is themed around early 1900s national park lodges and features a warm, cozy vibe with roaring fireplaces.

You will love it’s majestic 8-story log cabin lobby showcasing an 82-foot fireplace with lots of comfy couches and rocking chairs. This resort consists of 727 guest rooms as well as several restaurants, bars, and pools.

The Wilderness Lodge is located on Bay Lake between Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Fort Wilderness Campground. It is one of Walt Disney World’s deluxe hotel options. It opened in 1994 with guest rooms being renovated in 2012 and pool renovations in 2014.

This beautiful resort includes transportation to all Disney World theme parks as well as Disney Springs. Magic Kingdom can be reached by boat, while transportation to all other destinations will require a bus.

Room Types

The Wilderness Lodge Resort has nature view, courtyard view, pool view, nature fireworks view, and standard view rooms available. These rooms all sleep up to 2-4 adults and either have 2 queen beds or a king bed.

Club level is also available! Club level rooms sleep between 2 and 6 adults. Exclusive club level amenities include evening turn down, access to a club level lounge serving refreshments from 7 am to 10 pm daily, and complimentary health club access.
